Dr. Bita Shakib

Naturopathic Physician/Homeopath

Education:

  • Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine, Bastyr University

  • Doctorate and Ph.D  Candidate in Integrative Medicine from Quantum University

Language Spoken: English, Farsi

Clinical Interests: Foundations of health including regenerative detoxification, weight management, and nutrition, as well as the practices of homeopathy and craniosacral therapy

Biography:

Dr. Bita Shakib has always had a strong commitment toward helping teach, train, and care for others.  Although she began a path towards becoming an elementary school teacher, that focus was derailed when she learned of her partner’s diagnosis of kidney cancer. Without hesitation, Bita tirelessly began searching for answers and ways to help support his upcoming battle.

This wave of new beginnings guided her passion to Naturopathic Medicine where she was able to find serenity in knowing more and seeking out solutions to so many of the unanswered problems. After starting from scratch, helping support her partner’s recovery from cancer, and successfully completing medical school, she officially received her Naturopathic Doctorate degree from Bastyr University in 2019.

She has since practiced as a Licensed Naturopathic Physician in the state of Washington and has worked alongside a locally well-known Naturopath and Homeopath, Dr. Sharum Sharif.  This experience has allowed Dr. Shakib to gain invaluable experience in acute, chronic, and constitutional homeopathic prescribing.

In addition to homeopathy, Dr. Shakib has a deep interest in regenerative whole-body detoxification, described as the process of “cleansing and alkalizing the body and removing the obstructions that block the proper functions of cells.”  In addition, Dr. Shakib believes that “true health is freedom from limitations and restrictions" and approaches each case by first removing the patient’s obstacles to cure. She tirelessly works with patients to rebuild and strengthen their individual body types with homeopathics, tissue-specific herbs and electrically alive nutrients. Her belief is that craniosacral therapy, as well as dance, fitness, and art, are all incredibly supportive in keeping the mind and body from energetic and physiologic stagnation.

Outside her Naturopathic passion, Dr. Shakib enjoys reading and learning more about the world around her, while also making time to spend with friends and family.  Her partner, Andrew and her, share a cat named Betsey, dog- Yoshi, tortoise- Scooter, and many plants they call friends. It is clear how much Dr. Shakib loves life and continues to share her joy with those around her.  To this day, she lives by naturopathic principles and is confident that many have attributed to Andrew’s recovery and excellent ongoing health post-cancer.

Aesthetic Medicine

Aesthetic Medicine Specialist

Rachele Wright, ARNP

Nurse Practitioner/ Cosmetic Injector

Rachele is a Washington native and knew from a young age that she wanted to be in the medical field. After spending 8 years as an ICU nurse, she wanted more autonomy and went back to school for her master’s in nursing to become an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP). For the past 5 years, she has seen cardiology patients both in the hospital setting and in clinics. While she loved her work and patients, she felt called to branch out of traditional medicine and get certified in aesthetics. She has always been passionate about skincare and knew she could put medicine and skincare together! Her goal is to make you feel and look beautiful, well rested, and more youthful, while still maintaining a natural appearance. Outside of work, you will find her with her husband and two bernedoodles, Oscar and Jake. She enjoys plenty of outdoor activities like any true PNW native and trys to travel outside of the country at least once per year.
